Master Builders has just launched a new commercial contractor benchmarking tool which will allow members to measure their business operations against their industry peers.
The tool will be made available to all Master Builder General Contractor members at no cost, and will allow all participants to assess their quarterly performance on a range of key business indicators such as:
- Operating revenue (Residential, commercial and industrial)
- Direct costs (Salaries, payroll, superannuation and overtime)
- Overheads (IT, estimating, tendering, legal and insurance);
- Working days lost (Injury and strike action);
- Staffing levels (FT / PT and onsite / offsite);
- Number of active projects; and,
- Operating and financial data (Assets, Liabilities and Equity)
